As an employee of Brown Properties, Inc. since 1989, Sonja Brown has been in the real estate development business in the Cookeville/Putnam County/Crossville area for 14 years having worked on premier projects such as White Plains Plantation & Golf Course, The Overlook, Brotherton Place, Country Club Place, Capshaw Woods, Farms at South Pointe, Plantation Oaks, Plantation Heights, Park West, Cambridge, Lake Pointe, Huntington Woods, Brookstone, and Deer Creek Golf Community.

As a General Partner of Bear Lake Partners, Mrs. Brown has developed one of the area’s most exclusive developments, Bear Lake. Other Bear Lake Partners’ projects include Copperfield, Plantation Court, Farmington Woods, Heathwood West, Northampton, and The Hub Industrial and Distribution Park.

Sonja is a Tennessee licensed real estate agent with American Way Real Estate Co., Inc. and has been a multi-million dollar producer since 1993 and is a member of the elite Eagle’s Club. American Way Real Estate is the Number One real estate company in the Cookeville/Putnam area with a market share of 55%.

Sonja Brown is a Tennessee Tech graduate, having received an MBA in 1993 and a B.S. in Marketing 1986; member of the Executive Business Alumni Association for Tennessee Tech; a member of the Cookeville/Putnam Chamber of Commerce; and a member of the Board of Realtors.

After many years of working in interior decorating and design Aprill Lynn Eicholtz decided to take the next step. In the early 1991 she branched out to include designing and building custom homes in her home town of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her company, Aprill Lynn Custom Homes, Inc. offered homes that were “Different by Design” as her slogan stated. Her homes are filled with rich exterior styling and color. The interiors shine with wonderful surprises and thoughtful detailing. Because of this, Aprill Lynn along with one of her many homes was featured on the cover of Builder/Architect Magazine. Her homes are located in exclusive communities surrounding Ann Arbor including the Uplands of Scio Ridge, Travis Pointe Golf Course and Yorkwoods on Sunset Lake in Saline, Michigan.

After moving to Tennessee in 1997, Aprill Lynn quickly became a licensed builder in that state also. She and her husband, Brad, formed Bradley Custom Homes and began building executive homes in the Cookeville/Putnam County area. This is very much a family involved business. Together Aprill and Brad have four children. All of whom have grown up working hard in various aspects of the business. The oldest three, Karissa, Jessica and Jason are married and with their spouses are all successfully self-employed. Their youngest, Brent enjoys his job working on cars.

Mrs. Eicholtz is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, NAHB Senior Housing Council, National Kitchen & Bath Association, Upper Cumberland Home Builder Association and Chamber of Commerce
